Foz de Prata is one of the first allotments in the country to be LEED - Neighbourhood Development* certified, the most prestigious in the world for sustainability. The fulfilment of all these standards reinforces the "green" commitment of AM48 and Foz de Prata. This is an allotment certified for its central location, sustainability and innovative proposal, measures that contribute to the comfort, health and quality of life of residents.
* LEED is an accreditation system developed in 1993 by the U.S. Green Building Council, a non-profit NGO. This rating system takes into account the environmental impact of structures during their life cycle, from design and construction to operation and maintenance, and is designed to inspire and help create more sustainable and well-connected neighbourhoods.
